Instit (Jack Foley) has her first run for us in the 4YO conditions hurdle over 2 miles. She won a maiden hurdle in France and we think she will like this ground and trip. Man O Work was still in contention when falling at the second last in Icare Allen’s race at Fairyhouse and he looks the one to beat. We’ve been happy with our filly at home and we are expecting her to be very competitive.
Mi Lighthouse (Jack Foley) runs in the 2m 6f mares novice hurdle. She was left to come home alone when her stable companion La Prima Donna fell at the second last at Limerick. That was over 2 miles and we think this longer trip will be in her favour. She will handle the ground and should go very well in what looks like a competitive contest.
El Barra (Jack Foley) goes for the 2m 1f beginners chase. He has run well in chases won by Saint Sam and Blue Lord and meets nothing of their calibre here. This looks like an ideal opportunity to get off the mark over fences.
Hunters Yarn (Patrick) runs in the winners’ bumper. We were a bit disappointed with his first run for us when he finished fourth in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown last November. We think he will handle the ground and the drop back to 2 miles should help. We’re looking for a big run.
