Elite Charboniere is first reserve in division two of the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He hasn’t run for a long time but is ready to start back if he gets in here. This would be tough for him and ideally he would prefer nicer ground.
We have two in the Hilly Way Chase over 2 miles. Chacun Pour Soi (Paul) goes well fresh and has been working well. He is well suited by the race conditions and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t make the most of this opportunity. Cash Back (Danny) has fallen on his last two runs and we are hoping for a clear round today. He has schooled well at home since his last run at Naas.
Sapphire Lady (Paul) goes for the mares novice chase over 2 miles. She jumped brilliantly to win a beginners chase easily at Thurles last time. This is a big step up here but she could be up to it. We are hoping she will at least get some black type today.
