Pink In The Park (Danny) goes for the mares hurdle over 2m 2f. She ran a great race to be second on her hurdling debut at Gowran. This is a tough ask but some of the opposition have hard races recently and our mare is relatively fresh. She has every chance.
Indiana Dream (Luke Dempsey) has his first run for us in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He won an AQPS race in France and makes his hurdling debut here. He is a lovely horse to look at and hopefully could have a nice future. This trip should be no bother and we are expecting him to give a good account.
We have two runners in the Grade 3 Mares Chase over 2m 5f. Dolcita (Danny) jumps well and is a two-time course and distance winner. She is fit and well and is the preferred one from Closutton. Agusta Gold (Daryl Jacob) won this race two years ago but has not run up to that form since. While she loves this track and trip, she is returning from a break and her lack of race fitness could be a key factor.
James du Berlais (Daryl Jacob) makes his chasing debut in the 2m 5f beginners chase. It’s taken us a while to get him right this season but with his jumping experience in France he should take to fences like a duck to water. His best hurdling form should put him right in the picture here.
We have two runners in the bumper. Chrisco (Patrick) is a lovely recruit owned by the Imperial Racing Syndicate who had Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander. He works well at home and we are hoping for a big show. Dinoland (Jody Townend) is by Doctor Dino and is a horse we like a lot. His future might be over hurdles rather than bumpers but we will know a lot more after today.
