Punchestown 31st December

We have two runners making their chasing debuts in the 2m 7f beginners chase. Egality Mans (Paul) fell over hurdles last time but jumps well at home and has won a point to point. He has relatively little racing experience but is in good form at home. En Beton (Danny) jumps very well and has always looked like a chaser in the making. He should run very well.

Vauban (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 3YO maiden hurdle over 2 miles. He won two flat races in France and has schooled nicely at home. He will handle the ground and should go close.

Cilaos Emery (Paul) goes for the 2m 3f conditions hurdle. He won a chase at Thurles last month and is suited by these race conditions. He is fit and well and we are expecting a big run.

Carrigmoorna Queen (Jody Townend) makes her debut in the mares’ bumper over 2m 2f. She is a nice Walk In The Park filly who has been working well enough at home. It would be great if she could keep up our great recent run in bumpers.
