Mr Coldstone (Paul) has his first run for us and makes his hurdling debut in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He has an undistinguished flat resume but schools well at home. His pedigree suggests he mightn’t handle this ground but he has to start off somewhere.
Gorki D’airy (Paul) is another having his first run for us. He goes for the 2m 5f maiden hurdle. He was third in an AQPS race in France and jumps well. It is a competitive race but he gallops well and should give a good account of himself.
We have three runners in the Savills Grade 3 Chase. Al Boum Photo (Paul) has won this race for the last two years before going on to win back-to-back Cheltenham Gold Cups. He is in tip-top order and, with stamina his forte, these searching ground conditions won’t inconvenience him. Acapella Bourgeois (Danny) ran a good race when runner-up to Al Boum Photo in this race last year and we are hoping for a similar performance from him this time round. Brahma Bull (David) ran well when second at Navan last month but could find this a tough assignment.
