We run two in the 2m 2f beginners chase. Franco De Port (Paul) is having his first run over fences and has schooled well at home. The trip and ground won’t be a problem and on his best hurdles form he should be hard to beat here. Harrie (Danny) has been disappointing so we are dropping him back in trip today to see how he gets on.
Gjoumi (Paul) goes for the 2 mile 4yo maiden hurdle. She ran a cracker on her debut behind Burning Victory on heavy ground at Fairyhouse last February and is in good form at home. A similar run here should see her get off the mark.
Gauloise (Paul) makes her hurdling debut in the mares maiden hurdle over 2 miles. She won an AQPS race over 1m 4f in France and is a good jumper. Her homework suggests she will go close here.
Rambranlt’jac (Paul) is first reserve in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. His French hurdling experience would be a big advantage here. It looks like a nice opportunity and if he gets a run he should give a very good account of himself.
