Monkfish (Paul) makes his chasing debut in the beginners chase over 2m 5f. He jumps well and has won a point to point. If he can transform his hurdling ability to fences he will be very hard to beat. Ontheropes (David) has chasing experience but will be better over further. He could develop into a 4 mile chase horse.
Concertista (Paul) goes for the grade 2 mares hurdle over 2m 3f. She won the mares novices hurdle at Cheltenham and is well suited by these race conditions. She has been working well and we think she will be fine over this trip. We have been aiming her for this race for a while and hopefully she will take all the beating.
Hook Up (Paul) runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. She was unplaced in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham but had run a very good race at Fairyhouse before that when third to Burning Victory who went on to win the Triumph. She must have a very good chance here.
Reality Cheque (Patrick) has his first run for us in the bumper. He is a nice horse who won a point to point before coming to us. He has a real old fashioned pedigree and should go well in what could be a very hot contest.
