We will have two runners in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. Milo Lises (Brain Hayes) has been disappointing and probably needs more practice. Maroto (Paul) ran better than his finishing position would suggest at Fairyhouse last month and we are expecting significant improvement here. We’re confident of a big run.
We also run two in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. Dr Eggman (Paul) will like this trip and ground and this could be an opportunity for him to shed his maiden hurdle tag. Surf Club (Danny) needs to improve and we may not see the best of him until the spring.
We have have two in the Quevega Mares Hurdle over 2m 4f. Gala Marceau (Paul) ran a smashing race at Doncaster last time and will be hard to beat today. Saylavee (Danny) runs well here and hopefully she will get some more black type.
Cuta Des As (Paul) goes for the 2m 6f mares maiden hurdle. She had a few little training problems that kept her off the track since finishing third in a bumper here last April. She is ready for action now and jumps well and will like the ground. She looks the one to beat.
