Division 1 4YO Maiden Hurdle 2 Miles
Kaid D’authie (Paul) is having his first run for us. He finished fifth over hurdles in France and is a lovely big horse who will make a nice chaser in time. He shows plenty of ability at home and is a horse that could be followed for the rest of the season.
Division 2 – Kirsca De Thaix is a non-runner.
Maiden Hurdle 2 Miles
Jasmin De Vaux (Paul) is making his hurdling debut but has jumping experience from the point to point field. He goes well at home and the form of his win in the Cheltenham Bumper should make him hard to beat here.
Joueur Masque (Simon Torrens) won a flat AQPS race in France and might need the experience on his first outing over hurdles.
Grade 2 Novice Hurdle 2m 4f
My Great Mate (Paul) won over this trip at Galway in October but this represents a step up in grade. It will be a tough day at the office for him and we will be pleased if gets a share of the prize money.
Listed Handicap Hurdle 3m 1f
Space Tourist (Sean Cleary-Farrell) has to overcome a poor run at Bangor last time and will be up against it if the ground turns soft.
We have been waiting for this race for Four Clean Aces (Brian Hayes). This trip will improve her but unfortunately the groundwon’t be beneficial if the forecast rain arrives.
Paul has decided to ride Paggane and hopefully that is a good pointer. He comes here after finishing second at Cork last month and this trip will really suit.
Listed Handicap Chase 2m 4f
Hercule Du Seuil (Aidan Kelly) has the advantage of being a course winner. However, with top-weight he faces a tough assignment even with his rider’s 5lb claim.
Paul has picked Adamantly Chosen who will love this trip. He has a good chance.
MacDermott (Brian Hayes) won the Scottish Grand National at Ayr and is being aimed at the Aintree Grand National. This trip is too short for him but we need to get his season started.
Aime Desjy (Sean O’Keeffe) will appreciate the trip but needs to put his last run at Ballinrobe behind him.
Klarc Kent (Mikey O’Sullivan) will be suited by the trip and ground and has each-way prospects.
Beginners Chase 2m 4f
Chosen Witness (Sean O’Keeffe) is having his first run over fences but has won a point to point . He is versatile ground-wise but might need a longer trip.
Ile Atlantique (Paul) is also making his chasing debut but jumps well at home. He will handle the ground and trip and hopefully will round off a nice day for Paul.
