Paul rides Gaucher (French for left-handed person) in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. Coming off the flat in France he won’t have experienced testing conditions like todays. He jumps well at home and if he transfers that ability to the racecourse he won’t be far away.
We have two runners in the Ten Up Novice Chase over 3 miles. Paul rode both to win last time out and was obviously more impressed with Nick Rockett as that is the one he has opted for here. Minella Cocooner (Danny) was impressive over this course and distance and won’t be far away today.
Cantico (Patrick) goes for the bumper. He ran green when third at Leopardstown over Christmas and that experience will stand to him here. We’re expecting a big run.
