River Tara (Paul) runs in the maiden hurdle over 2m 4f. She was third on her hurdling debut at Wexford and that experience will stand to her here. However, the testing ground won’t be in her favour.
We have four runners in the 2 mile Listed Handicap Hurdle. Icare Allen (Mark Walsh) ran very twice at the Galway festival. All the recent rain will bring his stamina into play and we think he will run a big race. Cash Back (Kieran Callaghan) has been running well but this is a tough race for him. Paul has picked Horantzau D’airy who will be suited by the ground. He should go close. Aime Desjy (Danny) has an each-way chance off his light weight. He will learn an awful here which will stand to him when he goes back into novice company.
Mount Sinai (Patrick) goes for the mares bumper. This ground should be fine for her and she has been working well at home. This could be an opportunity for her to get off the mark.
