Pure Notions (Paul) has her first run over hurdles in the mares’ maiden hurdle over 2m 6f. She schools well and her breeding suggests that she needs a trip like this. She should give a good account.
Absurde (Paul) is having his first run for us in the 2m 4f novice hurdle. He is a good jumper who had some very smart form on the flat in France. His lack of experience over hurdles might count against him but he has a good chance if he doesn’t run too keenly.
Saint Sam (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f chase. The race conditions are in his favour and we have been happy with him at home. This trip will be fine for him and we’re expecting a big run.
Annamix (Patrick) is in the hunter chase over 2m 7f. He was running well when he was interfered with and subsequently pulled up at Punchestown last time. This ground gives him every chance today.
Naruto (Jody) runs in the Ladies Bumper over 2m 1f. He was third at Thurles on his debut and we think he will improve on that run here. If he does, he has every chance of getting off the mark.
