Jit Langy is first reserve for the 4YO maiden hurdle over 2m 1f. He is a nice horse who was second in a hurdle at Auteuil. We would like to see him out on decent ground but he may not get in.
Night And Day (Paul) goes for the 2m 1f mares’ listed hurdle. Her run at Punchestown last time gives her a great chance here and she will handle the ground.
Saldier (Paul) is well suited by the race conditions in the 2m 7f novice chase. He pulled up over 2m 4f at Naas last time but this longer trip will be more to his liking. We’re hoping for the best.
We have Eabha Grace (Conor McNamara) and Hauturiere (Paul) in the mares’ beginners chase over 2m 4f. They are both making their chasing debuts and it will be tough for them to beat the horses with more experience. They both need this trip and maybe even further.
We have four declared for the handicap chase over 3m 2f. This trip will suit all four. Paul has gone for Ramillies who looks best of ours even though he has to carry top-weight. En Beton (Brian Hayes) has been off for a long time and really needs winter ground. Egality Mans (Kieran Callaghan) has been disappointing recently but we are hoping that Kieran’s 7lb claim might bring him into it. Pont Aval (Sean O’Keeffe) has a nice weight but she has been disappointing all season.
My Great Mate (Patrick) makes his debut in the 4YO bumper over 2m 1f. He is a half-brother to Ashroe Diamond and Take Tea and he does things nicely at home. Hopefully, he will keep up the good recent run of our bumper horses.
