We have three runners in the 2 mile handicap hurdle. Lot Of Joy (Paul) got no run when sixth in the QR race here on Monday so takes her chance again in this valuable handicap. Tekao (Sam Torrens) just missed out on getting a run in the Galway Hurdle and we think he has a big chance off a nice weight here. We’llhavewan (Brian Hayes) is running here on Wednesday so a lot will depend on how he gets on there. Stilyker is second reserve and would have a good chance of his light weight if he gets in.
We have two in the handicap chase over 2m 6f. Good Bye Sam (Paul) will like the trip and could be hard to beat off bottom weight. Inclusion is first reserve and she too will go well off 10st 5lbs if she gets in. This trip will suit her down to the ground.
Jackfinbar (Declan McDonogh) goes for the 1m 4f handicap. He ran a great race when third at Roscommon and we thought he would be hard to beat here even with top weight. However, he has been drawn on the wide outside in stall 20 and that will seriously hinder his chance.
We run two in the 1m 4f fillies maiden. Ivana (Seamus Heffernan) won a bumper at Limerick on her debut and will handle the ground and track. Vadsa Queen (Gary Carroll) won a bumper at Tramore in June but may need a longer trip to be seen at her best.
We have three runners in the 1m 6f flat race. M C Muldoon (Seamus Heffernan) hasn’t run for ages and isn’t well in at the weights but needs to get his season underway. Mt Leinster (Colin Keane) is a course winner and his homework suggests he will go well here. Stratum (Billy Lee) is also a course winner. He is best in on official figures but may find this trip a little on the short side.
