We have Karia Des Blaises (Danny) and Miss Manzor (Paul) in the 4yo conditions hurdle over 2 miles. They were both very disappointing at Leopardstown over Christmas but this looks like a drop in class. With different riding tactics we are hoping they will run a lot better today. Paul has opted to ride Miss Manzor but he may not have picked the right one!
We have three runners in the Dan & Joan Moore Menorial Handicap Chase over 2m 1f. Saint Roi (Jody McGarvey) has a lot of weight but if there is a strong gallop he is well up to carrying it. Uncle Phil (Paul) ran very well when third at Punchestown last time and will love this trip. The drying ground will help but he might want it even better. Chavez (Danny) is a course winner and has a lovely racing weight. The trip could be a little short for him at this level but he takes his chance.
We run two in the 2m 1f beginners chase. Hunters Yarn (Paul) has a very big chance considering how unlucky he was when falling at the last here last month. Polo Lounge (Danny) has a lot of ground to make up and this is a tough assignment for him. We will be pleased if he finishes in the first three.
Yoradreamer (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. If the rumours on the grapevine are correct this is a very hot contest and hopefully our fellow will run well enough for a top three finish.
