Blue Lemons (Rachael) won very well at Gowran on his hurdling debut. He lacks jumping experience but his flat experience will stand to him. The drying ground will put him right in the picture.
Larzac (Mark Walsh) is a fine big horse similar to Majborough. He’s one to keep an eye on for the future.
Pappano, Poniros and Too Bossy For Us are nice dual purpose types who should do well next season.
Willy De Houelle (Brian Hayes) ran well with a change of tactics at Leopardstown and we are expecting him to improve further.
Paul has picked Lady Vega Allen who has has two very good runs in Ireland and is an improving type.
Lumiere Du Large (Kevin Sexton) is having her first run for us and might be a mare for next season.
Place De La Nation (Jack Kennedy) would need to improve to get involved.
Sainta Lucie (Danny) was very impressive at Punchestown but the ocassion got to her at the Dublin Racing Festival. A first-time hood and different tactics might see her get into a place.
County Handicap Hurdle 2m 1f
Daddy Long Legs ran well at Leopardstown but faces a tough task with top weight.
Absurde won this last year but lack of a recent run is a worry with him. However, he’s been working very well and if there’s a fast early pace he’ll be closing at the finish.
Ethical Diamond (Patrick) ticks a lot of boxes and the ground is coming right for him. He has a great each-way chance.
Kargese (Paul) will have no problem with the ground and brings a brings a tremendous level of form.
Mares Chase 2m 4f
Both Dinoblue and Allegorie De Vassy are in great order and have major chances. Their form is tied together and there might not be much between them again today. The ground won’t be a hindrance to either of them.
Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle 3 Miles
Rachael has been in tip-top form this week and takes the ride on Argento Boy. He has a great chance over this trip.
Fishery Lane (Sean O’Keeffe) likes this track and the uphill finish. The trip will bring out the best in him and he’s a good each-way shot.
Paul has chosen Jasmin De Vaux who won the Champion Bumper here last year. His jumping leaves a lot to be desired but the slow pace over this trip will help. He has a major chance.
Port Joulain jumps well and needs to improve but he could just do that.
Sounds Victorious (Patrick) jumps well and is bred for this trip. He has a chance of a place.
Gold Cup 3m 2f
Galopin Des Champs (Paul) is going for a hat-trick of Gold Cups. He has been doing every thing right at home so it’s fingers crossed that he can emulate Best Mate and Arkle with a third win.
Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle 2m 4f
Tounsivator (Kieran Callaghan) has a stiff task with top-weight but we are hoping for the best.
Kopek De Mee will be ridden by Aidan Kelly who won this race two years ago. He’s been very popular in the betting market and we think he has a leading chance.
We have been lucky to get the services of Tiernan Power Roche for Karafon who has a very good each-way chance.
Stormbreaker (Sean Cleary Farrell) will need a career best to get involved.
