We have two runners in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. Both are having their first runs for the yard. Force Of Forces (Paul) is a nice hurdling type but his form in England was very moderate. This ground will suit him and we will just have to see how he gets on. Saglawy (David Mullins) had form in France as a 2yo in heavy ground over a trip. If he takes to jumping his 4yo allowance should be a big help.

We also run two in the 2m 6f novice hurdle. Sympa Des Flos (David Mullins) was very good when  winning over this trip at Limerick over Christmas. He is a difficult horse but he is improving all the time. He should run well but this is a huge jump in class. Burrows Saint (Paul) won a 2m 4f maiden at Punchestown in November and the form of that race is not working out too badly. He has an each-way chance in this hot race.

American Tom (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f Grade 3 Chase. He is slightly favoured by these race conditions but with only three runs over fences his lack of experience is a concern. He will handle the ground and trip.

Kate Appleby Shoes (Paul) runs in the mares’ novice chase. She is a resilient mare who did well on her chasing debut at Limerick last month. With that experience behind her she could take all the beating here.
