Dandy Mag (David) makes his chasing debut in the 2m 6f beginners chase. He jumps great and will be suited by this trip. Granted a clear round he must have a first rate chance on his hurdling form.

We run three in the 2m 2f novice chase. Cool Colonnade (Danny) might not good enough on ratings but he will appreciate this trip. Wicklow Brave (Paul) will be suited by this trip and did everything right when winning over fences at Ballinrobe in May. We are hoping he will follow up here. Robin De Carlow (David) is a real good jumper but could find this trip on the short side.

We have two runners in the 2m 4f novice hurdle. Foveros (Paul) was beaten at Ballinrobe last time but we are prepared to draw a line through that run. He will really appreciate this trip and we expect him to get back to winning ways today. Little Nugget (David) is not without a chance. She stays well and will like the ground.

We have four in the Galway Hurdle over 2 miles. Sayo (David) can’t be ruled out but has a lot of weight and is making his seasonal debut. Stratum (Conor McNamara) could be unexposed over hurdles and has a good 7lb claimer aboard. However, he does need to get his jumping together. Riven Light (Danny) came up the hill well to win on the flat here last year and should go well today. Shanning (Paul) has a nice low weight and is a course and distance winner. He is in great form and goes on the ground. We are expecting a big run.

Valley Breeze (Audrey McMahon) goes for the 2m 2f bumper. His last few runs have been disappointing and he might prefer softer ground. His rider’s 7lb claim will be a help as will the extra 2 furlongs here.
