Heia (Paul) makes her chasing debut in the 1m 7f mares beginners chase. She jumps very well and has an obvious chance if she can transfer her hurdling ability to fences. With a clear round she should see off this opposition.
We have two runners in the 2m 1f maiden hurdle. Rule The Wind (Brain Hayes) was a bit disappointing at Kilbeggan last time but if he can leave that run behing today he should be very competitive. Paul rides Katou who is making her hurdling debut. She has schooled well and with a little improvement from her bumper run she could go well here.
Vadsa Queen (Charlie Mullins) goes for the mares bumper over 2m 1f. She hasn’t run since finishing fifth in a bumper at Ballinrobe a year ago but she has been in good form at home and is ready to start back. She will like this ground and we are confident of a big run.
