Thurles 28th November

Beginners Chase 2m 2f

Mistergif (Paul) is making his chasing debut. He was very useful over hurdles and jumps fences well. He hasn’t run since May but we are very happy with him at home and expecting a big run here.

Brian Hayes won on Western Diego over hurdles at Fairyhouse and retains the ride here. He has point to point experience and jumps well at home. He won’t be far away.

Listed Chase 2m 6f

Embassy Gardens (Brian Hayes) is a course winner and hopefully he won’t find this trip too short.

Nick Rockett (Danny) would also prefer a longer trip but we have to start off his season somewhere.

Appreciate It is Paul’s choice and has a lot going for him here. He is suited by the race conditions and will like the trip and go on the ground. He should be very competitive.

Maiden Hurdle 2m 4f

Fishery Lane (Paul) is having his first run over hurdles. He jumps well and brings a good level of bumper form here. He will handle the ground and won’t have any trouble with the trip. We are hoping he can make a winning start over hurdles today.

Foreverwalking (Sean O’Keeffe) is also making his hurdling debut but has jumping experience from point to points. He has had training problems and is probably best watched today.

Mares Maiden Hurdle 2 Miles

Baby Kate (Brian Hayes) makes her hurdling debut and had good form in bumpers. However, her lack of hurdling experience is a little concern.

Karamoja (Paul) is having her first run for us. She was third in a listed hurdle in France and shows plenty of ability at home. This looks like an opportunity to get off the mark over hurdles.

Maiden Hurdle 2 Miles

Karafon (Paul) brings a huge level of form here. He was fifth in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown last Christmas and it will be disappointing if he isn’t capable of taking care of this opposition.
