We have two runners making their chasing debuts in the 2m 3f Rated Novice Chase. Colreevy (Paul) fell at the last when challenging on his only run in a point to point but has schooled well in preparation for this. He will handle the ground and we will be disappointed if he doesn’t run a big race. Vis Ta Loi (David) also jumps well. Chasing should be his game but he might need a longer trip to be seen at his best.
We also have two runners in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. Blue Lord (Paul) won a 2 mile flat race in France and jumps well and will like the ground. He is a nice type who might get off the mark over hurdles here. Glens Of Antrim (Mark Walsh) is a well bred filly that we like a lot. This is not an easy task on her racecourse debut but she is one to look out for in the future.
