Blood Destiny (Paul) goes for the 2m 3f novice chase. He won very well on his chasing debut at Naas last month and this trip and track will suit. It’s a hot race but our fellow has improved and should go very close.
We are well represented in the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle over 2 miles. Lombron (Paul) was impressive when winning his maiden at Thurles and is a real winter type. We had intended running Mystical Power (Mark Walsh) in the Lawlors Of Naas Hurdle at Naas yesterday but this looked like an easier race. He was a comfortable winner at the Galway festival but the jury is out on him as he brings summer form to this race. He might also need an extra half a mile to be seen at his best.
We have two declared for the 2 mile maiden hurdle. Lisnagar Fortune (Paul) was only just touched off by Readin Tommy Wrong at Cork last time and that form was advertised in no uncertain fashion in the Lawlors Hurdle at Naas yesterday. That run should be good enough here. Mercurey (Danny) is our second string but it often happens that our lesser fancied horses prove better than we thought. However, Lisnagar Fortune has the benefit of a recent run under his belt which might prove decisive.
