Milo Lises (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 4yo maiden hurdle over 2 miles. He ran a fantastic race first time out when second in the Goffs Bumper to Predators Gold who went on to advertise the form with an easy maiden hurdle win at Punchestown last month. He jumps well and will handle the ground and we’re expecting a big run.
Dr Eggman (Paul) is having his first run over hurdles in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He has good form in bumpers and we are very hopeful that he will make an ideal start to his hurdling career today.
Lecky Watson (Paul) has a nice chance in the 2m 4f novice hurdle. He was very keen when he won his maiden hurdle at Thurles last month. That was over 2m 7f so dropping back in trip here should be to his advantage. The form of that Thurles race was franked when the third horse won next time out.
We’llhavewan (Paul) goes for the listed handicap hurdle over 3m 1f. He has been a good servant to us and has every chance in this valuable handicap. Stamina will count for a lot and his light weight should ensure he gets involved at the business end.
We have Indiana Dream (Mark Walsh) and Shanbally Kid (Paul) in the very hot beginners chase over 2m 4f. Both lack experience over fences but jump very well at home. We’ll be happy if one of them manages to finish in the first two or three.
