Naas 9th March

Maiden Hurdle 2m 3f

Redemption Day is Paul’s only ride today. He ran in a grade one hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival and drops back to calmer waters today. He won a grade one bumper at Punchestown last year and that form looks very good in the context of this race. We will be disappointed if he doesn’t make the most of this opportunity to get off the mark over hurdles.

Grade 3 Novice Hurdle 2 Miles

Gaucher (Brian Hayes) will go on the ground but needs to step considerably if he is to win today.

Belloccio (Danny) prefers going right-handed but on his best form he has a great chance of getting back to winning ways today.

Handicap Hurdle 2m 3f

Jump Allen (Sean O’Keeffe) is having his first run in a handicap. He was fifth in a maiden here last month and that gives him a little chance here.

Beginners Chase 2m 4f

Olympic Man (Danny) is a course winner but ideally would prefer a longer trip.

Sir Argus (Brian Hayes) hasn’t run since finishing fifth at Galway last October and is hard to fancy here.

Mares Winners Bumper 2 Miles

Blue Velvet (Patrick) won at Thurles but then finished unplaced at Leopardstown last month. She will need to improve if she is to get involved here.
