N’golo (Paul) goes for the 2 mile novice hurdle. He won his maiden in Galway but then pulled up last time in Kilbeggan. He would have to leave that bad run behind if he is to figure in this very competitive race. Any more rain wouldn’t help his chance.
We have three in the Kerry National over 3 miles. Robin Des Foret (David) has a chance on his Killarney run last month and is a course winner here. He prefers good ground. Cabaret Queen (Paul) had a great run in the Galway Plate and has run well here in the past. However, her chance could be compromised if we get a lot of rain. Blazer (Mark Walsh) has a nice weight and first time cheek pieces might be a help.
Bohemian Birch (Patrick) makes her debut in the bumper. She is by Mahler and will appreciate this 2m 4f trip.
