Space Tourist (Paul) runs in the mares hurdle over 2m 4f. She was a bit disappointing behind Arctic Fly over 2 miles at Galway but this longer trip will be more to her liking. We are hoping she will make amends today for that poor Galway run.
Uncle Phil (Paul) goes for the 2m 1f rated novice chase. He was only sixth at Wexford last time but this track will suit a lot better. This shorter trip will also be more to his liking but any further rain would hinder his chance.
We have two runners in the 2m 4f chase. Easy Game (Brain Hayes) loves this track and has won this race for the last two years. However, he needs decent ground and more rain would be a serious disadvantage. Saint Sam (Paul) is on a roll and is seeking four-in-a-row here. Unlike Easy Game, he is suited by soft grond and we will be disappointed if doesn’t win again today.
Glowing Account (Patrick) makes a belated debut in the bumper. He looked a very promising bumper type but has had his training problems. He will appreciate nice ground and has every chance here.
