We have three runners in the 2 mile maiden hurdle which is for jockeys who have not ridden more than 10 winners in the last year. Milo Lises (Sean Cleary-Farrell) disappointed us at Tramore on New Years Day and will need to show improvement if he is to be concerned here. Mistergif (Kieran Callaghan) is having his first run for us. He had plenty of racing experience on the flat and over hurdles in France. He’s done everything we have asked of him at home and we are expecting him to shed his maiden hurdle tag today. Surf Club (Adrian Heskin) was only fifth behind stablemate Jimmy Du Seuil at Clonmel last time and could find this tough.
