The Electrical Kid (Danny) runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He was well beaten on his hurdling debut at Clonmel but we are expecting a much better performance today. This trip is fine and he will handle the ground. It will be disappointing if he isn’t capable of taking care of this opposition.
Implicit (Danny) goes for the 2m 5f maiden hurdle. She ran very well when third at Clonmel last month and if she can build on that she should get into the money again today.
We have two runners in the Grade 1 Faugheen Novice Chase over 2m 3f. Gaelic Warrior (Patrick) was very impressive when winning on his chasing debut at Punchestown and we are expecting him to follow up here. He will handle the ground and will love going right-handed. Il Etait Temps (Danny) is our second string but has the ability to cause a surprise. His jumping has greatly improved since going over fences.
Glengouly (Danny) runs in the 2m 3f Listed Handicap Chase. He is not one of our stable stars but should improve from his run at Thurles last time. He might be small each-way value.
Cadoudal Saint (Patrick) has his first run for us in the bumper. He has won a point to point and is a big old fashioned chasing type. He will love these testing conditions and we’re very hopeful.
