Rath Gaul Boy (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He hasn’t run since finishing second over 2 miles at the Galway festival but he is fit and ready to start back here. Postileo, who had a flat rating of 105, might be hard to beat but hopefully our fellow’s hurdling experience and the longer trip could swing it in his favour.
We have two runners in the 2m 1f beginners chase. Paul rides Horantzau D’airy who is having his first run over fences. He jumps well and will handle the ground and trip. Paul Marvel (Brian Hayes) has chasing experience but may find this trip too short.
Magic McColgan (Patrick) goes for the mares bumper. She disappointed us when finishing fourth on her debut at Limerick over Christmas but we are expecting a much better performance today. We’re expecting a big run.
