Ninth Loch (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He won a bumper at Kilbeggan in June and was then a little disappointing when unplaced in a QR flat maiden at Galway. He jumps well and his recent homework has been good. He will like the ground and should go very well.
We have two in the 2m 6f handicap hurdle. Foveros (Kieran Callaghan) finished sixth in a similar race at Galway and needs to improve if he is to figure here. We’llhavewan (Paul) also needs to step up his game if he is to win today. He ran twice at Galway where things didn’t go to plan over this trip on the Wednesday. He was disappointing then two days later when he ran in a two mile handicap.
Aurora Vega (Patrick) goes for the winners bumper. We decided not to run her at Galway and this looks like an ideal opportunity to follow up her win at Sligo in June. It will be disappointing if she isn’t capable of taking care of this opposition.
