We run two in the mares hurdle over 2m 2f. La Prima Donna (Kieran Callaghan) hasn’t run since being brough down at the Galway festival last year. Ideally, she would prefer a longer trip but we are hoping for a good run. Space Tourist (Sean Cleary-Farrell) won her maiden in good style at Limerick last month and a reproduction of that run should put her right in the firing line here.
We also have two in the Opportunity Beginners Chase over 2m 3f. Uncle Phil (Mikey O’Sullivan) didn’t jump great on his chasing debut at Wexford last time but he’s a course winner here in a bumper. This trip will suit and with a clear round of jumping he should go close. Winter Fog (Kieran Callaghan) will improve from his chasing debut at Ballinrobe and is not without a chance today.
