We have two runners making their hurdling debuts in the mares maiden hurdle over 2m 3f. We had intended running them at Bellewstown last weekend but the ground was too fast. Hopefully, the ground will be nicer here. Tina Meehan (Paul) won a bumper in good style at Tramore last October and jumps well at home. We think she will go close here. Coastguard Lady (Brian Hayes) needs a longer trip and would have to improve significantly to figure.
Sky Sprinter (Paul) makes his chasing debut in the 3m 1f beginners chase. He hasn’t run since being a bit disappointing over hurdles at Sligo last year. He needs fences and this trip. We are hoping he goes well.
Pont Aval (Paul) goes for the Midlands National Handicap Chase over 3m 1f. She won over 3m 2f at Killarney last time and needed every yard of the trip. She needs a strong pace and hopefully she will get that here. This is a tough task but she has every chance.
