Fairyhouse 30th March

Annamix is a non-runner in the Hunters Chase.

Instit (Paul) goes for the competitive Mares Listed Handicap Chase over 2m 5f. She has won twice over this course and distance and is suited by these race conditions. She will love the ground and should go very close.

Jody rides Klarc Kent in the Ladies National Handicap Chase over 2m 5f. This is a big ask on his first run in a handicap but he is in good form and jumps well. He will love this trip and ground.

We have three runners in the Listed Novice Handicap Hurdle over 2m 7f. Paul has chosen Olympic Man who won a maiden over 2m 3f at Naas last time. This longer trip will be a big help and we are expecting a very good run. The trip and track are ideal for What Path (Danny) but he would prefer better ground. Lombron (Sean O’Keeffe) was a little disappointing in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham but we are hoping that today’s longer trip will bring about improvement.

We have two in the Listed Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles. Westport Cove (Paul) is a course winner but will find this tough with top-weight on testing ground. Risk Belle (Aidan Kelly) won this race off a light weight last year but could find this a tough assignment with 18lbs more to carry this time.

We have two with good chances in the listed mares winners bumper. Patrick has elected to ride Magic McColgan who is a full-sister to Tornado Flyer and won nicely at Leopardstown last time. Flashaway (Jody) was only learning as she won impressively at Gowran and she will like this heavy ground. She won’t be far away.
