We have four runners in the mares novice hurdle over 2m 2f. Pink In The Park (Sean O’Keeffe) put in an improved effort at Leopardstown and we’re hoping for another good run here. A Penny A Hundred (Mikey O’Sullivan) was second at Punchestown last time but needs to find more if she is to get involved today. Jade De Grugy (Brian Hayes) was very impressive at Leopardstown and with normal progress she should be hard to beat here. She could be a top class mare. Judicieuse Allen (Adrian Heskin) won nicely at Limerick at Christmas but the form of that race hasn’t really taken off.
We run two in the maiden hurdle over 2 miles. Houlanbatordechais (Sean O’Keeffe) ran a very encouraging race at Leopardstown over Christmas and could go very close here. Western Diego (Brian Hayes) needs to improve and settle better but his best bumper form gives him a chance.
Argento Boy (Jody) makes his debut in the bumper. He is a nice type who has been pleasing us at home. Jody won on Captain Cody for the yard yesterday and hopefully she will follow up here.
