Capodanno (Mark Walsh) was fourth at Tramore last time but faces a tough task here.
Minella Cocooner (Danny) has a chance of getting some place money but might prefer nicer underfoot conditions.
Nick Rockett (Brian Hayes) is well suited by the race conditions and likes this track. A repeat of his win in the Thyestes last time should make him hard to beat.

Judicieuse Allen (Brian Hayes) is a course and distance winner but needs to improve on her run at Thurles last month.
A Penny A Hundred (Danny) also needs to improve but the testing ground will bring her stamina into play.
Spindleberry (Paul) is probably our best chance but her lack of experience might tell against her in a race of this quality.
Bumper 2 Miles
Arslan (Patrick) is a nice type who goes very well at home. He was second in a point to point and is sure to play a big part here.
Kaiser Ball (Tom Costello) is also a very good horse who works well and cannot be dismissed. Hopefully, one of our two will prevail.
