Juvenile Hurdle 2 Miles
Willy De Houlle (Paul) is having his first run for us. He came from France with a big reputation and has been jumping and working very well. This will give us a big indication of where he stands in the juvenile ranks.
Handicap Chase 3m 5f
Klarc Kent (Paul) is facing a tough assignment on his first run of the season. It always takes him a few runs to come right.
Royal Bond Novice Hurdle 2 Miles
Gaucher (Brian Hayes) won at Tipperary last time and will be suited by the ground. If he gets into a nice rhythm early he should run very well.
Paul has picked Belloccio and that is a big indication. He won on good to firm ground on the flat at Royal Ascot but wouldn’t want it too firm over hurdles. He’s in top form at home and should be very competitive.
Plontier (Sean O’Keeffe) was very good when winning a maiden hurdle at Sligo and has been schooling well but his lack of experience is a little concern.
Sea Of Sands (Patrick) will improve a lot from this run. If he runs well we will be happy to keep him to graded races.
We toyed with the idea of running Tounsivator (Danny) in the handicap but decided to give him a chance in graded company.
Hatton’s Grace Hurdle 2m 4f
Lossiemouth (Paul) missed her engagement last week but comes here in good form. She boasts a great level of from and it’s all to play for.
Listed Handicap Hurdle 2 Miles
Icare Desbois (Paul) is a course winner but is hard to fancy after a poor run at Listowel last time. He is probably best watched today.
Bumper 2 Miles
Unknown Entity (Patrick) finished fourth on his first run for us at the Punchestown Festival in April. He has improved a good bit in the interim and we are confident of a big run today.
