Youmdor (Paul) runs in the 4yo conditions hurdle over 2 miles. He impressed us when winning at Gowran on his hurdling debut and, while this looks a stiffer task, he should be a big player here.
Manitopark (Paul) goes for the 2m 2f mares maiden hurdle. She ran a bit green at when fifth at Navan and should come on for that experience. Hopefully she will run well here.
We have two in the Grade A Handicap Chase over 2m 1f. Fan De Blues (Paul) ran well at Killarney before finding 3 miles a bit too far at Navan last time. He wears a hood for the first time today and has an each-way chance. Pont Aven (Danny) ran a great race over this trip at Leopardstown over Christmas and has a light weight here. He too has each-way prospects.
Hi Ho Phoenix (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. He is a nice chaser in the making and will love this very demanding ground. He shouldn’t be too far away at the business end.
