We have two making their chasing debuts in the 2 mile beginners chase. This looks like an ideal opportunity for Hunters Yarn (Paul). He is a course winner and has been schooling well at home. The trip and ground will suit and hopefully he’s the one to beat. Polo Lounge (Sean O’Keeffe) has been off the track for a long time but is fit and well and ready to start back. However, this trip might be on the short side for him.
O’Moore Park (Paul) makes his hurdling debut in the 2m 7f maiden hurdle. He’s won a point to point and jumps well at home. He didn’t live up to our expectations in bumpers but this trip should bring out the best in him. He looks to hold a strong chance.
We run two nice fillies in the 4yo bumper. El Fabienne (Patrick) was second in a point to point and looks an ideal bumper type. Her homework suggests she will be very competitive here. Western Princess (Jody) is very well bred but might need a longer trip to be seen at her best.
