The Ballyline Man (Danny) goes for the 2m 6f maiden hurdle. He was balloted out of a similar race at Ballinrobe last Tuesday but gets a chance to make his hurdling debut today. He has the benefit of previous point to point experience and has schooled well over hurdles at home. He’ll improve a lot from his run in a bumper at Cork last month where he finished fourth. This trip is ideal and he has every chance of finishing in the first three.
Surf Club (Jody) makes his debut in the bumper over 2m 1f. He is bred to handle nice ground and on the evidence of his recent homework he should go very close.
