James Doyle rides Lope De Lilas. She won a maiden very easily at Leopardstown in May but this is a big step up. However, James was very happy after riding her work earlier this week and today’s trip and ground will suit. She has a good draw and we’ll be pleased if she can finish in the first four.

Vauban (Colin Keane) ran a cracker when fourth in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot last month and hopefully he won’t feel the effects of that hard race today. We want to give him more racing this year before having another shot at the Melbourne Cup.
