We have two in the conditions hurdle over 2 miles. Cash Back (Kieran Callaghan) ran nicely at Naas and is improving all the time. We’re hoping he will get into the money. Mister Policeman (Mikey O’Sullivan) had a lot of problems early in the season. He won a hurdle in France and is not qualified for novices or handicaps so we are letting him take his chance here. He’s a very exciting prospect and we are really looking forward to seeing how he gets on today.
Aione (Mikey O’Sullivan) runs in the 2m 4f beginners chase. He looks to have a tough task taking on Largy Debut. However, he has plenty of experience and we will be pleased if can finish in the money.
We run two in the Grade 3 Chase over 3 miles. Chacun Pour Soi (Mikey O’Sullivan) takes another step up in trip but there is no reason why he shouldn’t stay. It’s hard to find suitable opportunities for him and we think a change of riding tactics here could be the right move. Bachasson (Sean Flanagan) won at Clonmel just over two weeks ago after a long lay-off. He is in great order and hopefully this race is not coming too soon.
The Ballyline Man (Jody Townend) makes his racecourse debut in the bumper over 2m 3f. He is a nice sort but is more a horse for jumping than bumpers. We will probably go jumping with him after 1st May.
