We run two in the conditions hurdle over 2m 2f. Paul rides Cash Back who looks best of the pair. Conditions hurdles seem to suit his style of racing better and he has a small chance here. Fighter Allen (Jack Foley) was pulled up in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown last Christmas. He reverts to hurdles today to help him get his confidence back.
Power Of Pause (Paul) goes for the handicap hurdle over 2m 6f. This trip will be a help but he probably needs to go jumping fences at this stage of his career.
We have two runners in the 2m 1f beginners chase. Hercule Du Seuil (Jody McGarvey) was second over this course and distance earlier this month and we are very much hoping he will go one better today and get off the mark over fences. He will have no problem with the ground. Winter Fog (Brian Hayes) is making his chasing debut but he has point to point experience and jumps very well. His hurdle rating gives him a chance.
Mystical Power (Patrick) makes his debut in the bumper. He is very well bred and we are really looking forward to running him here. He is an ideal bumper type who shows plenty of ability at home. We’re expecting a big run.
