We have two runners in the 2 mile beginners chase. Pylonthepressure (Robbie Power) is a course winner and will love the testing ground. He ran well enough on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse but needs to improve a bit to figure here. Turcagua (David Mullins) made a very satisfactory chasing debut at Navan and any improvement will see him right in the firing line today. He might prefer better ground but should go close nevertheless.

Bang Bang Rosie (David Mullins) is in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. She ran too freely when disappointing last time so we will try different tactics today. She is in good form at home but we are not sure if she is in love with heavy ground.

We have two in the 2m 4f novice hurdle. Didero Vallis (David Mullins) was unplaced in a 3 mile handicap hurdle at Leopardstown at Christmas but this is a big drop in class. He jumps and stays well and will need every yard of this trip. Hey Little Boy (Niall Kelly) has been disappointing and is returning from a little break. His jumping will have to improve a lot of he is to be competitive here.

We also run two in the 2m 7f maiden hurdle. Itsonlyrocknroll (David Mullins) will appreciate this trip but needs to jump better than he did at Cork lat time. Caro Des Flos (Niall Kelly) has been very disappointing but did run well here behind Al Boum Photo last year. He might need better ground to be seen at his best.

Clinton Hill (Patrick) in the bumper is probably our best chance of a winner. He was second at Fairyhouse on his racecourse debut and with the anticipated improvement he should run a big race.
