We have three runners in the 2m 5f beginners chase. C’est Jersey (David Mullins) is making his debut over fences but if he can transfer his hurdling ability to fences he would have a good chance here. Cap D’Aubois (Robbie Power) disappointed here last time but has been in good form at home. Kemboy (Paul) will benefit from the experience of finishing second over this course and distance last time. He will like this ground and trip and should be very much involved at the business end.

We also run three in the Mares Grade 3 Novice Hurdle over 2m 2f. Ainsi Va La Vie (David Mullins) ran a lot better than her finishing position would suggest at Limerick last time. She made a bad mistake three out and with a clear round here she should go close. Laurina (Paul) won impressively at Tramore last month but this race is of a different caliber. She will like the ground and trip and had good form in France so we have decided to give her this opportunity. True Self (Brian Hayes) managed to get beaten by a 200/1 shot last time but her best form gives her a chance here.
