Hauturiere (Danny) drops back to 2 miles in the mares maiden hurdle. While she would prefer a drier surface, this is the first race so she will have the best of the ground. If she handles the ground she could open her account over hurdles today.
We have two runners in the 2 mile handicap hurdle. Arctic Warrior (Jody McGarvey) has been in great form at home and today could be his day. He has a lot of weight but will be suited by the ground. Gjoumi (Sean O’Keeffe) is a difficult ride. Hopefully, Sean will be able to get a tune out of her.
Egality Mans (Danny) goes for the 3m 1f beginners chase. He needs to improve his jumping but he will stay and go on the ground. He might finally break his duck over fences today.
Manitopark (Sean O’Keeffe) makes his chasing debut in the 2 mile mares beginners chase. He was disappointing over hurdles but maybe this will be his game. He jumps well but we are not sure how he will handle this testing ground.
Dancing City (Patrick) has his first run for us in the bumper. He won a point to point and came to us with a good reputation. While this may not be his favoured ground going forward, he has shown us enough at home to give a real good account today.
