Saint Roi (Paul) runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He was disappointing on his first run for us at Clonmel last month but we are expecting a much better effort today. He will go on the ground and will handle the track. This looks like an opportunity to get off the mark over hurdles.
We have three of the four runners in the grade 3 chase over 2m 3f. Al Boum Photo (Paul) was successful here last year before going on to land the Cheltenham Gold Cup and we are expecting him to win this race again today. Voix du Reve (Brian Hayes) ran a nice race in the John Durkan at Punchestown last time and will improve for that run. Hopefully he will be the one to follow Al Boum Photo home here. Acapella Bourgeois (Rachael Blackmore) is having his first run of the season. He will like the ground and we think that the track will suit his style of racing.
