Old Bill Barley (Sean O’Keeffe) runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He ran well when third on his hurdling debut at Kilbeggan last month and with normal improvement he should be hard to beat here. He will like the trip and ground.
Walk On The Moone (Danny) goes for the 2m 5f maiden hurdle. She was unplaced at Kilbeggan last time but we are drawing a line through that run. Her previous run at Limerick was very good and a reproduction of that run should put her right in the firing line here. This ground will suit.
Inclusion (Brian Hayes) has her first run for us in the 2m 5f mares beginners chase. It is also her first run for owners James and Jean Potter. She has schooled well at home and has won a point to point so jumping shouldn’t be a concern. This looks like a hot beginners chase so we will just have to see how she gets on.
Katie Tay (Patrick) goes for the bumper. She is another having her first run for us. She was unplaced in the Goffs Land Rover bumper at the Punchestown festival and drops in class today. Her homework has improved a fair bit recently and we are expecting her to be involved at the business end.
