We have two runners in the beginners chase over 3 miles. Ramillies (Bryan Cooper) is making his chasing debut but he won a point to point in England and jumps very well at home. He looks like a real chasing type and we are hoping he will show much improved form over fences. Tenzing (Sean O’Keeffe) surprised us by how well he ran over 2m 5f at Fairyhouse last time. Stepping up to 3 miles here will be a big benefit.
Katou (Jody Townend) makes her debut in the mares’ bumper. She is a nice type by Shantou but this looks like it could be a tough race for a newcomer to win. We will be pleased if she finishes in the first three and we can then build on that going forward.
