Kilcruit (Paul) runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He was a bit disappointing when third over 2m 4f at Leopardstown last time but dropping back to 2 miles here will suit him better. We are expecting him to finally get off the mark over hurdles today.
Take Tea (Mark Walsh) goes for the mares maiden hurdle over 2m 4f. She was too free and used herself up when finishing fifth behind Brandy Love at Naas last time. A small change of tactics here could make a big difference and we are expecting a big run.
Classic Getaway (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f maiden hurdle. He didn’t settle when beaten by Cash Back at Clonmel and he’s not meeting of that calibre here. This trip and ground will suit and hopefully a reproduction of the Clonmel run will be enough to see him shed his maiden tag.
