Punchestown 28th May

Grand Bornand (Paul) runs in the 2 mile handicap chase. He will be really well suited by this ground and we are hoping that will help him improve. However, he pulled up behind El Barra here last time and is probably best watched today.

Heia (Paul) goes for the mares’ novice hurdle over 2m 4f. She was second at Killarney last time and we are hoping she will go one better today. She will like the ground and should be seriously involved.

Tax For Max (Paul) runs in the first division of the 2 mile maiden hurdle. He was third in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown festival and that form should be good enough here. It looks like an ideal opportunity to get off the mark over hurdles.

Spread Boss Ted (Patrick) makes his racecourse debut in the bumper. He is a nice type of horse who is well up to winning a bumper. He should run very well but it does look like a very hot contest.
